Crypto Fear & Greed is a lightweight app that shows the market sentiment index. We built it to be simple and respectful of your data.

What the app collects

The app does not require accounts, names, email addresses, or other personal information. It requests the current sentiment index from a public API over the internet.

Data stored on your device

To make the app feel fast, it saves the latest index value, recent history, widget settings, and refresh timing locally on your device. This data stays on your device and is not uploaded by the app.

Advertising

On Android, the app can show interstitial ads. Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to provide and measure ads. We do not receive your personal data from AdMob.

Third-party services

The app interacts with these external services:

• Public Fear & Greed index API for sentiment data.
• Google AdMob (Android only) for advertising.

Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
